Monday, December 1st - Friday, December 5th

The annual tradition of Colfax giving back to our community during the holidays continues with our Toy Drive taking place all this week. Please bring new and unwrapped toys to collection bins at the Kinder / Addison and Huston drop-off gates.

Recommended gift donations by grade are as follows:

TK: Gifts for 1-4 years olds
Kinder: Gifts for 5-8 year old girls
1st grade: Gifts for 5-8 year old boys
2nd grade: Gifts for 9-13 year old girls

3rd grade: Gifts for 9-13 year old boys
4th grade: Gifts for 14-16 year old girls
5th grade: Gifts for 14-16 year old boys

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

Mark Your Calendars: Holiday Boutique is Coming!

🎁Monday, December 8th - Friday, December 12th🎁

WHAT IS IT? A chance for your kids to select & purchase gifts for loved ones, friends, teachers, and even pets! The library is transformed into a holiday gift store all students visit with their class during the school day. Items are priced from $1 - $12, with most around $2 - $6.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO? Look for the flyer coming home in backpacks and help your child fill out their shopping list. Return it to school on Friday, December 5th along with the attached envelope and money (cash only). Extra copies of the shopping list are in the front office.
WANT TO HELP? It takes dozens of parents volunteering to make this event come to life – from helping kids select gifts to wrapping them up in bags with ribbons and tags – and it is SO MUCH FUN! Click to SIGN UP!

BONUS! On Friday, 12/12 after school we open the boutique to everyone - kids, parents, teachers, etc. - but only if we have volunteers to help staff it. Please sign up to work and help clean up so we can continue this tradition.

Our Annual Giving Donation Campaign is in full swing, and the generosity is music to our ears! Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. The Tune into Giving classroom competition has ended, but you can still give! Our goal is for 100% participation, so please, give at ANY level. Click here for more information and to donate.

One of the best ways to get plugged into the Colfax community is to volunteer!
**Beginning Wednesday, October 1st, only LAUSD approved volunteers are allowed on campus during the school day.**
