Happy last week of the 2020-2021 school year Colfax. What a year this has been but we did it! I want to offer a huge shout out to all of our teachers, staff and parents that were rockstars during at home learning and helped facilitate getting us back on campus.
Thank you to our PACE & PTA board members, committee leads and parent volunteers who still made magic happen during such a challenging year. The biggest shout out goes to our students who have shown up and done the work.
I have been blown away by what this community has accomplished. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms. I cannot wait to see what more we can do. Have a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you back on campus in the fall.

Coffee & Conversation
Join Mr. Gorton for our final Coffee & Conversation for the school year where he will be discussing LAUSD high school graduation requirements.
We're thrilled to have been selected to participate in DoorDash's new giveback program and it couldn't come at a better time! Yearbooks are in!
If you ordered a 2020-21 Colfax Yearbook and your student attends school in-person, your teacher will distribute your yearbook later this week, so please check your student's backpack! If your student is in a virtual cohort, you can collect your yearbook when you drop off your device in the front office from 6/14-6/18 between the hours of 10am-2pm.
There are a very limited number of extras that will be available on a first-come, first served basis for $40. Our Yearbook Chair, Maribel Gonzalez, will be at the corner of Addison/Morella on Wednesday 6/9 from 8:25-8:50am and 3-3:30pm.
PACE Survey
Please take this quick survey to share your thoughts about how PACE should prioritize our enrichment programs while planning our 2021-22 fundraisers and events. We'll finalize our calendar and budget during the summer and want to take your opinion into consideration!

Please remember to return all library books before Friday, June 11th. We still have quite a few books that have not been returned from March 2020. Emails were sent to each student with overdue books. Please check your LAUSD student email. Notices were also given to students by their teachers. Books may be dropped off in the front office or may be given directly to Mrs. Benard on campus. You may also give the book to your teacher. If a book is lost or damaged the fee to replace it is $25.00, or you may purchase a new, hardback copy of the book and turn that in instead. If you have any questions regarding an overdue book please contact Mrs. Benard at Colleen.Benard@lausd.net

Reminder: you can search the directory by Teacher, Grade or even the Street you live on to find friends close by in the neighborhood! If you've made your contact info private, but want other families to be able to access it over the summer, please update your profile this week.
